Skylodge Resort - Coron

The location isn't ideal for spontaneous strolls into town. It feels remote, and the complimentary shuttle often left me waiting for 30-40 minutes. Some rooms face the wrong direction, lacking the views you'd hope for, which can feel disappointing if that's what you're after. The second set of spiral stairs leading to the terrace could use some safety considerations, as they felt a bit precarious, especially at that height.

Really enjoyed having free and very good breakfast.

Stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel was lovely and immaculately clean, had spectacular views, perfect location directly next to all restaurants. The staff were both fabulously helpful and very amiable. Location: the property was right by a hill, the airport, and the Philippines. I tried some drinks at bar Sharky's Restobar, located 10 minutes walk away. The pool was clean and I had refreshing drinks in the poolside bar.

The fine views captivated us. The staff were really nice, especially Kimie, who made diving enjoyable and stress-free.

While the experience was mostly positive, the pool area needs some maintenance, which detracted slightly from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

We were there for 3 nights and felt will come back. The hotel was overall clean with delightfully helpful and very amiable staff who provided us with free breakfasts.

The view from the deck is something else, wicked amazing! The breakfast buffet had it all-perfect way to start my day. The staff were super attentive, always smiling. Loved the cozy atmosphere and the free ride to town made exploring easy. The only downside was an occasional bug here and there in the room.

My room was budget and modern, there were a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment, and television with satellite channels. The staff was really accommodating, excellent, provided a quiet atmosphere. The location was incredibly comfortable and perfect, for example, Coron Public Market was not too far away from the hotel

What an absolute disappointment. My room was as simple as they get, definitely not what I expected. The AC was so loud, it was like sleeping next to an elephant! And for a hotel with such high rates, I expected some sort of welcome gift. But alas, regular treatment it was, shame! I almost gave. But just couldn't.

Air-conditioning dripping with no remote!!! Towels and bedding need urgent upgrades!!! The gym lacked cleaning supplies and water!!! Public areas covered in dust!!! TV signal poor with limited channels!!!

The staff were accommodating, particularly Grace, were very good at every turn. The complimentary shuttle service to town was a huge plus, providing flexibility for exploring local attractions. The location is somewhat remote, requiring a 15-20 minute walk back from the main areas, which can be a bit tiring due to the uphill climb. While some meals were enjoyable, a certain dish fell flat, which impacted the overall dining experience.
